Fujicolor Reala Ace 100 Film Simulation Recipe

I aimed to ensure that my recipe captured not only the look but also the essence of Reala Ace, paying close attention to color balance, saturation, contrast, and the overall tonal curve.

One of the first adjustments I made was to the color balance. Based on my comparisons, the Reala Ace film had a slightly warmer hue, which I wanted to replicate in my digital recipe. I adjusted the white balance settings to introduce a subtle warmth without overpowering the natural tones of the image. Keep in mind, the color can differ depending on the lenses you are using and the lighting conditions.

Next, I focused on the saturation and contrast levels. The original Reala Ace film was known for its vibrant yet natural colors. To achieve this, I made slight tweaks to the saturation and contrast settings. One of the hallmarks of film photography is the presence of grain, which adds texture and a sense of authenticity to the images. To mimic this, I added a moderate grain effect to my simulation.
