The FUJIFILM XC 50-230mm f/4.5-6.7 OIS II Lens zoom lens is an APS-C X-Mount telephoto lens suitable for amateur photographers who want to get close to the subjects. This zoom lens is suitable for portrait and wildlife photography.
The lens is compatible with all Fujifilm cameras with X-Mount such as the X-T200, X-T30, X-T3, just to name a few.
The telephoto lens is kind of lightweight, mostly made of plastic. It is easy to handle for anyone with small to large hand size. There are rubbers around the lens that are used for grip when holding the lens. This lens is great for travel but can also try getting the Fujifilm XF 18-135mm as an alternative travel lens.
The lens has a 58mm filter thread, use a 58mm filter to protect the lens glass from the dust or scratches. The lens originally comes with a lens hood and cap.

I begin to like using this affordable 50-230mm zoom lens more compared to my Fujinon 15-45mm kit lens and the 7artisan 25mm manual focus prime lens. It takes impressive sharp images.
After 3 months of quarantine and not able to go anywhere during this Covid-19 pandemic lockdown in Malaysia, here are some of the images I’ve shot with the Fujinon XC 50-230mm telephoto lens. These just test images used on my X-T100, I’ve thought of getting another mirrorless camera, either the X-T30 or X-T3. I’ve yet to get out to the street in action and get some really creamy bokehlicious street portrait photographs.
I can say, this is an amazing lens for the cheap price I get. If you are looking for a budget telephoto lens for Fujifilm X-Series cameras, 50-230mm is the one to go for!
